JP Environmental developed an OPSIM Model of the Dartbrook Underground Site. The mine is currently on care and maintenance. A dynamic daily water balance model for Dartbrook Coal Mine was developed. The emphasis was on forecasting the recovery of the water table in the goaf and modelling strategies that maximised consumption of water on the site.

JP Environmental designed, supplied and installed 88 vibrating wire piezometers at 16 locations for Dartbrook Coal Mine, and for the proposed Drayton South Mine.
